Small Business & Entrepreneur Education Series -- Business and Baseball
The Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sherwood welcome residents from all over the region to join us in a virtual educational series for entrepreneurs and existing and start-up small businesses. There is no cost to attend but registration is required to receive the virtual link.
June 17th Session: All Hopped Up -- Adapting to Change in Baseball and Beyond with the Hillsboro Hops
Hillsboro Hops President and General Manager K.L. Wombacher will share a behind-the-dugout look at how COVID 19 was a catalyst for major changes in Minor League Baseball, how the Hops have adapted, and what small businesses can learn from the Hops' success.
K.L. enters his 16th year as general manager, and his 20th season with the franchise. In the Fall of 2006, K.L. joined the ownership group. Beginning his career with the Yakima Bears as an intern during the 2001 season, K.L. joined the full-time staff after completing his degree in Fitness and Sports Management from Central Washington University. He was the Director of Stadium Operations and Assistant General Manager before his promotion to General Manager in September of 2004.
