Small Business & Entrepreneur Education Series: Retirement Savings Options for Small Business Owners and Employees
The Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sherwood welcome residents from all over the region to join us in a virtual educational series for entrepreneurs and existing and start-up small businesses.
April 15th session: Small Business Retirement Savings Options for Owners and Employees
Small businesses often have trouble competing with big businesses’ benefit packages when it comes to recruiting new employees. Even small business owners don’t often plan for their own retirement because most money earned goes back into the business. How can we turn the tide on the savings crisis in today’s economic climate and offer a savings plan for every employee?
This month’s education series will discuss the options available to employers, including OregonSaves, a state retirement program that will soon be required of all businesses if no other retirement plan is offered to employees.
