Small Business & Entrepreneur Education Series. Session Five -- Succession Planning
The Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sherwood welcome residents from all over the region to join us in a virtual educational series for entrepreneurs and existing and start-up small businesses.
November 19th session: Succession Planning
Presenter: Shannon MitchellIn this presentation, Shannon Mitchell will guide business owners through the best practices for successful transition of ownership. As a Banner Bank Vice President and Business Banking Team Lead, Shannon assists diverse owner-led companies, from dental practices to manufacturing firms. Drawing upon her experience and ag-business education, she will discuss timelines, options and resources for effectively building and executing a business succession plan. Given the complex nature of the topic, Shannon will help owners explore and evaluate emotional as well as financial considerations. Regardless of the life stage of your business and whether you’re aiming to retire or simply change course, this program will help you move forward and achieve your goal.
