30TH ANNUAL LES SCHWAB CRUISIN' SHERWOOD
CLASSIC & CUSTOM CAR SHOW RESCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 28, 2021
Sherwood, OR, December 18, 2020 –The 30th Annual Les Schwab Tire Centers Cruisin’ Sherwood Classic & Custom Car Show has been rescheduled for Saturday August 28, 2021 in Old Town Sherwood.
After evaluating the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and the car show committee decided to push the 2021 date from June to later in the summer. "In light of the uncertainty that continues due to the pandemic and the challenge and inconvenience of rescheduling the show in the middle of our planning season, we felt that making the date change now is prudent," said Sherwood Chamber executive director Corey Kearsley. "We're encouraged by the news of a vaccine making its way across the country and are optimistic that delaying the car show an additional two months will allow us to produce an event that Sherwood and the car community can be proud of and enjoy."
In addition to hundreds of classic and custom cars being showcased, it's hopeful that many favorite Cruisin' activities will continue with the new date, including the engine blow and burnout, kid's zone, live music, vendors, and food court. Organizers are also working on additional elements that will enhance the experience for everyone involved in the show. More details will be announced as plans are finalized.
